Instructions for the IELTS Reading test
- This test works best on a desktop/laptop with Chrome or Firefox browser
- To reset the test, refresh the page.
- We recommend posting your score in the comments to help others. You can also post any feedback on the test or any questions in the test.
- The test can be given in 'Quiz mode' and 'Test Mode'
- Quiz Mode
- The default mode of the test
- Answers and your score are shown in real-time.
- Test Mode
- Click on settings (top-right corner) to change from quiz to test mode.
- Test mode opens in full screen and answers are shown at the end of the test.
- Test mode ends by clicking the 'End Test' button or when the timer reaches 0.
- Answers and scores are shown after the test has ended
- Comments can be posted only after the test has ended
- The test is selected randomly, in case you have given the test earlier, come back to this screen by clicking the back button and start another test.
